Aim of project:

The project was designed around a growing family and designing something that suited their everyday needs as well as providing a beautiful space for their everyday. The challenge was that the family is for 6 people. Therefore the design had to have a almost neutrality yet allow for the distinctive characteristics of the dwelling to be accentuated.

While designing the extensions we have to increase the number of bedrooms and bathrooms for a occupants that often host family and friends. Therefore the property had to have a space that could be redesigned and moved around to fit larger groups.

This naturally led to an open space living and kitchen area whilst also provided privacy for the more secular parts of the house.
